Photoshop Creative Cloud (CC) comes with a desktop app, which allows quick access to key features and resources. CC informs you of the apps you have installed as well as alerting you to updates and available downloads. It tracks your interaction with other users and shared files, and provides a library of fonts that are continually being added to. Within this ‘Home Panel’ there is a panel linking you with Behance. This is a platform for showcasing and discussing a variety of work within a global creative community and is something that is fully integrated into CC.
Adobe has now introduced a system whereby files can be accessed from almost anywhere, whether they are desktop computers or mobile devices. With the Creative Cloud account, which includes 20GB of storage, it is now possible to share and access your files as well as synch personal settings, such as actions and tool presets. This provides a far less restrictive way of working and negates the need for resetting preferences or continually saving and transferring your brush library each time you swap between computers. Once your settings have been synched from one computer, then these can be reflected across a network of devices, providing a consistent workspace.
